This Mandarin is very popular in Queensland where it was discovered as a chance seedling in 1888. The virtually thorn-less tree produces large fruit with a thin easy peel skin. Ripens around July. If left on the tree you will notice the skin gets 'puffy'. Evergreen.

As with all Citrus make sure you cut the fruit off the tree rather than just pull. Your Mandarin will grow well in a warm, well drained fertile spot in the garden with protection from harsh frost. Also suitable for container growing with regular feeding and watering. Citrus Information Pages

A popular early maturing variety that has small, sweet juicy fruit of good colour and flavour. Happiest in a sunny well drained position. Remove fruit with sharp secateurs a few centimeters above the stalk. An ideal container plant which will be both ornamental and productive. Evergreen.

This new improved Clementine variety ripens around June-July. It has good sized, juicy fruit with very few seeds and a tangy flavour. Peels easily and cleanly. Generally crops well. Plant in a sunny, well drained spot in fertile soil. Evergreen.
