Nut. Not only is this a great looking deciduous tree that is extremely hardy it will also provide you with delicious, nutritious Hazelnuts in January/February. The large round nuts are packed with Vitamin E and anti-oxidants. Pollinate with Alexandra or Whiteheart. Deciduous.

Hazelnuts are harvested when they fall naturally to the ground an should be dried thoroughly prior to storage.

Nut. A popular variety that crops well over a long period. Lovely texture and flavour and nuts of a good size. A handsome tree with glossy green foliage and racemes of pink flowers in summer. Loves the sun, good drainage and fertile soil, must be protected from frost. Evergreen.

To ensure good cross pollination it is recommended that two varieties are planted together. NB Macadamias are toxic to dogs so choose your planting spot with care.

A good choice for the home garden as the nuts drop when they are ripe, making harvesting the yummy nuts easier. With a high oil content they are an early season variety but does better with another variety to pollinate. With pink flowers Spring and Summer the nuts are ready Autumn through Winter. Evergreen.
