This little Iris has to be one of my favourite NZ natives as it has such dainty white "butterfly" flowers. The narrow sword like leaves form a strong clump, the flowers appear in summer followed by ornamental seed pods. Easy to grow in average soil in a sunny position. Evergreen.

Bushy evergreen shrub with tiny oval deep green leaves. Small creamy white fragrant flowers in summer. Often used as a faster growing Box substitute. Ideal for topiary work and very effective for hedging. Fast growing and hardy.

If you want to quickly establish a nice compact low hedge then this is the plant for you. Lonicera needs a little more clipping than Box but it is very easy to maintain. When used for hedging or topiary then the flowers and fruit will be non existent.

Blonde N Gorgeous is a must-have evergreen plant for your garden. Stunning white tassel flowers abound In spring and autumn while year round olive green foliage is highlighted by coppery coloured growth tips in spring and summer. It's pendulous form provides substance and style to any garden.

Happy in either sun or part shade and dry tolerant once established. Low Maintenance.

An attractive and easy care shrub with arching branches of deep burgundy wine foliage. In spring and summer dark pink 'fringed' flowers appear and these carry a pleasant fragrance. Easy to grow in sun or part shade, prefers well drained soil. Provides a nice contrast to green. Evergreen.

AKA 'The Fringe Flower' Loropetalum is in the same family as 'Witch Hazel'. It has quite a broad habit but responds well to trimming if you wish the shrub to have a more rounded shape.
