Blueberry Northern Highbush. An early ripening mild, sweet flavoured berry. Foliage turns yellow-orange in Autumn. Plant in acidic soil in the garden/orchard and allow to grow big and beautiful, or grow in a container, prune for shape and size. Hardy, self-fertile, improve yield with another NH plant.

Good for harvesting November/ December.

This Southern Highbush Blueberry is a good choice for warmer areas of NZ. 'Marimba' is highly productive with large firm fruit full of flavour that ripen around December. Pollinate with another Southern Highbush. Plant in sun or part shade in rich acid soil for best results. Deciduous.

Though most Blueberries are self-fertile they will set fruit better if cross pollinated with another cultivar of the same variety.

Blueberry Rabbiteye. Maru produces excellent crops of large dark blue fruit. Mature the berries well on the plant prior to picking, This is a good variety for Waikato North. Flowers in spring, harvest fruit towards the end of summer. Acid Soil. Deciduous.

Let fruit mature on the bush. To ensure the best flavour leave fruit on the bush for 7-10 days after turning blue.

Best grown in areas that get some winter chill. Will perform best if planted with another variety such as 'Blue Joy'. Deciduous. PVR.

Blueberry Southern Highbush. A vigorous, upright grower that produces very large fruit with a mild sweet flavour. Plant in the sun in rich acid soil. Will perform better with a companion such as 'Marimba' or 'Petite Blue'. Ripe from November onwards. Deciduous.

It is important to remember that Blueberries fruit on the previous years wood and whilst they are self-fertile they will always do better with a companion.

Northern Highbush. A dwarf variety growing medium to large berries from mid-Summer. Ideal in a small garden or for container growing. Beautiful, seasonal color foliage ranging from peach to pink with white flowers in Spring and orange to emerald green in Autumn. Grow full sun, part shade and likes acidic soils.

It is important to remember that Blueberries fruit on the tips of the previous years growth and whilst they are self-fertile they will always do better with a companion.

Blueberry Northern Highbush - Dwarf. Has beautiful foliage and dainty clusters of white bell flowers with pink under tones in mid-Spring. Followed by large, mildly sweet, deep coloured, juicy berries. Can be used in a pot or in the garden for all year round colour. Self-fertile. Semi-Evergreen.

A 3 year old plant can produce up to 1.8kg. Harvest early Summer.
