Cuphea Ignea or the Mexican cigar plant is a genuine 'flowers continuously' plant. It keeps soldiering on until obliterated by frosts. A spreading shrub with lance shape leaves and tubular scarlet flowers with black at the tips and white edges, flowering in Spring through summer. Borders, rockeries and pots.
