Climber. If you're fond of the confectionery of the same name then you'll love this frothy, fragrant double pink rose with profuse and prolific blooms. The flowers fade to white with age. Good 'sweet' fragrance. Vigorous and healthy rose which is aptly named.

Hybrid Tea. A really attractive classic rose with well formed creamy white and pink blend blooms. Good strong stems and a nice heady fragrance. The overall effect is quite soft and pretty so ideal for adding a soft romantic look to the garden. 1993.

Gallica. An unusual rose that grows quite tall with strong arching branches. It bears single, deep pink simple flowers which aren't complicated at all. An attractive pale central zone highlights the prominent yellow stamens. Flowers mainly in summer. Good autumn hips and a soft fragrance

A large flowering, slightly fragrant hybrid tea rose. Large well-formed soft pink flowers are produced throughout the growing season on tall stems. Medium green glossy foliage. Ideal for cutting and can be used for hedging.

Floribunda. Unique clusters of large semi-double, terracotta blooms with pale yellow reverse petals and lovely briar apple fragrance. This super versatile, easy care shrub is bee friendly, great for picking and floral work throughout the seasons with amazing clusters of hips in Autumn.

Healthy, vigorous grower it can also be trained as a climber if you wish!

Hybrid Musk. When I first started growing roses this was one of my favourites. The small double flowers are produced in large clusters and are a blend of apricot, buff and pink. Nice bronze tones to the foliage and a good musky fragrance. Few thorns. Use as large shrub or small climber. 1925.

Rugosa hybrid. Large single blooms of dark pink highlighted with golden stamens appear continuously throughout the season. The blooms are very fragrant and if left uncut will produce large scarlet hips. Dark green foliage. Shows good disease resistance. AKA Hazel le Rougetel. 1988.

Shrub rose. A reliable rose that is almost continuously smothered in sprays of delicate blush-pink blooms highlighted with a deeper salmon pink. Perfect for combining with perennials in the border for a soft 'Cottage Garden' look. Healthy and robust. PVR.
