aka AKA Bonita or The St Edmunds Rose

Shrub. Memories of You is an upright, shrub rose with green leaves. It has fragrant, large blooms of orange-apricot with pink overtones that bloom throughout summer. This rose is known in different countries as Bonita or The St. Edmunds Rose and has won awards throughout Europe and Japan.

Floribunda. A striking rose with clusters of semi-double flowers with blended stripes in shades of vibrant orange and cream. Nice fragrance and repeats well. The reddish new foliage matures to a healthy dark green. A fascinating and unusual rose. 1995.

Floribunda. A unique and striking rose with a powerful spicy fragrance. The generous trusses of small, semi-double flowers are shaded a sensuous rich purple highlighted with golden stamens. While this rose is quite vigorous it has a compact habit and is virtually thornless.

The NZRS recommend that this rose is best grown in light shade to protect the beautiful blooms from burning in the sun.

Floribunda Std. A unique and striking rose with a powerful spicy fragrance. The generous trusses of small, semi-double flowers are shaded a sensuous rich purple highlighted with golden stamens. While this rose is quite vigorous it has a compact habit and is virtually thornless.

Hybrid Tea. A strong rose with large swirling flowers of pure creamy white tinged with pale pink on the petal edges. Nicely fragrant and free-flowering, nice picking rose. Sturdy healthy upright bush, shows good disease resistance. 1992

Climber - Noisette. Masses of milky white, cupped and very fragrant blooms that are blushed with pink decorate the relatively thorn free canes. An exceptional rose that reaches great heights. Repeats well from spring through to autumn and the pale green foliage is lush and abundant. 1879.

This is a wonderful rose to grow through large trees where it will seduce you with its fragrance and beauty as you walk beneath.

Damask. A graceful yet strong growing shrub with lush green foliage. The blooms are fragrant and look pale pink at first but open to pure white with a green centre. Rounded and flat in shape with a multitude of petals. Tolerant of poor soils and a little shade, repeats well. From France - 1832.

Bourbon. Beautiful large, shaggy blooms of purplish deep-pink that exude an amazing rich and heady fragrance. Few other Bourbons can rival its bold character. Free flowering and strong growing so if desired this rose can be used as a small climber. 1881.

Moss. Lovely, double, cupped blooms in a soft clear pink which emit a superb fragrance. The flowers are held on an erect mossy stem amid large, dark green foliage. Easily grown and performs well even in slightly poor soil. Recurrent. As the name suggests from France. 1898.

This rose should only be pruned lightly immediately after the first flowering and then only if required.

Austin. This is a pretty little rose with real flower power. The soft yellow flowers are rosette shaped and have a strong fragrance. 'Molineux' has a strong resistance to disease so overall a worthy choice. Lovely for the front of the border.
