Austin Std 80cm. Soft orange-red buds open to medium-sized, cupped rosettes of perfect apricot colouring. They are extremely robust and have a lovely fruity Tea scent. Very healthy; it matures into an attractive, rounded, bushy shrub with few thorns.

Hybrid Rugosa. Stunning large single rich scarlet red blooms that flower throughout the season. For specimen planting, fence, hedge or impenetrable barrier. Moderate fragrant. A nice health bush that is tolerate of some shade and wind.

Floribunda. Well you will really get your groove on with this award winning NZ bred rose. The bright red blooms open with a patch of orange-yellow in the centre and on the reverse. This quickly fades leaving lightly scented 'painted' flowers of red and white set against dark foliage. 1988.

Climber. This special little rose is spectacular in early spring around about the end of September. Masses of tiny double pale butter yellow blooms smother the arching stems and emit a gentle fragrance. The profuse foliage is almost thornless, evergreen and canes can reach 5m. Recognised in 1825

Rugosa. This strongly scented rose has beautiful semi-double, velvety wine-red flowers with a hint of purple. It is constantly in bloom over a long period. One of the best loved Rugosas with good reason. Nice dark green foliage which colours well in the autumn. Very hardy and tolerant. 1901.

The strongly scented flowers are followed by giant tomato-shaped hips. Hips are suitable for refreshing Rose Hip Tea.

Shrub. This strongly growing shrub rose is a very reliable performer. Glossy dark green foliage and single flowers that are blush pink on the edges with a cream central zone. Nicely prominent golden stamens complete the picture. Fragrant flowers appear continuously throughout the summer. 1979.

This is a good rose to use for hedging as it is quite broad in habit being wider than it is tall.
