Floribunda. Stunning, vibrant tangerine orange blooms - the colour is amazing and very showy. The bush has a strong tallish, upright habit with mid green foliage. Delightful light briar fragrance. Repeat flowering. An award winner.

Patio. A really beautiful little rose which flowers freely with soft mauve blooms that have a light and musky fragrance. Dark healthy leaves and smooth stems with few (if any) prickles. Just lovely for a container or as a low hedge or border around a garden bed. PVR. 1953. Deciduous

Standard Austin Rose. Described by David Austin as "their finest white rose to date" and appropriately named after his daughter Claire. Buds of pale lemon open to large white blooms with petals arranged in concentric circles. The plentiful blooms are very fragrant. Excellent disease resistance. 2011

Claire Austin is also an established nursery woman growing perennials. Her book "Irises- A Gardeners Encyclopedia" is a "must have" for any Iris grower.

Hybrid Tea. This rose is really a Hybrid Tea/Floribunda cross. Delicious and delightfully different, the blooms are elegantly poised with ruffled petals in a warm golden amber colour. Fragrant flowers smother this strong, healthy compact bush. PVR. 2000. Deciduous

aka AKA Brown Velvet

Floribunda. Bred in NZ and when first released demand outstripped supply. A uniquely coloured perpetual flowering rose with trusses of warm brown blooms overlaid with deep orange. Nice light fragrance with good upright growth. Gold Medal winner. 1983.

Bourbon. Firstly, this Rose has nothing to do with Vince Martin! Originating from France in 1874 it grows into a tall shrub that flowers abundantly in summer. The blooms are beautifully fragrant, fully double, globular and rose pink with splashes of deep carmine. Light green, healthy foliage

Commandant Beaurepaire was a French Army officer (1740-1792). His name can be found engraved on the Arch de Triomphe in Paris.
