Floribunda. A truly spectacular rose that has large fully double blooms that are 'painted' with orange and lemon yellow stripes. The glossy green disease resistant foliage is tinted with a hint of mahogany. Very striking. Few thorns. Another winner from Mr McGredy. 1992.

Gallica. Large fragrant flowers that are fully double appear throughout summer and are set against grey-green foliage. The blooms are a rich purple-crimson tone with fiery red centres. Strong upright habit and a good tolerance of poorer soils. Suitable for a robust hedge. From England around 1848.

Hybrid Tea. Shapely, warm, yellow blooms with a subtle fragrance that never seems to be without a flower through the season. Good for picking, mid green foliage with good disease resistance and good healthy bush. Commemorates the 150th anniversary of the University of Otago. Released 2019

Oxford Girl is a vigourous and extremely disease resistent climber bred in New Zealand by Mike Athy. It has fragrant dark pink double flowers and repeats well. This versatile rose can be grown on trellises, poles, arches, pillars, or allowed to cascade on its own. It continues to flower right through until autumn.

Floribunda. Pacific Glory has masses of blooms in large clusters in a unique colour combination of lavender, pink and tan. Relatively tall with very dark glossy foliage. Good disease resistance. Mild sweet fragrance. Bred by Rob Somerfield in 2012.

Hybrid Tea Std. Named after the Waikato Rosarian Paddy Stephens, this beautiful rose has coral-orange, salmon flowers which are lightly scented and of a perfect form, repeats well throughout the season. Lush green foliage and a healthy vigorous growth habit. 1991.

Hybrid Tea. Sweetly fragrant double, dark, glowing red blooms that are made up of approximately 20 ruffled petals. A dense bushy plant with mid green foliage. Repeats well. 1982.

This rose has high susceptibility to downey mildew and we no longer stock it.
