aka The Dunny Rose

Climbing-Tea. A gorgeous old rose often found adorning barns, fences and out-houses hence it's common name 'The Dunny Rose'. Will tolerate some shade, one of the first roses to flower in spring with fragrant, loosely shaped blooms in shades of pink, yellow and copper. Vigorous with few thorns. 1897.

This rose flowers on 'old wood' so take care not to prune back too hard. Named after the breeder's wife. Generally healthy and disease resistant. Give it room to flourish and you will be rewarded with blooms on and off right through to autumn.

A good healthy climber, stunning in full bloom and award winning: Certificate of merit at the NZ Rose Society trials of 2022. There aren't a lot of hardy climbers with vibrant yellow blooms, so it's lovely to have this new option. Long stems and good for picking. Bred by Rob Somerfield of Tauranga. Climbing.

Patio Climber. Unique patio climber with multi petal blooms of berry pink striped with cream. Rich dark foliage sets off the flower clusters borne on longer stems which are also lovely to pick for something different! Bred in NZ by Bob Matthews.

Patio Climber. This rose has small, perfectly formed, double, magenta purple flowers with a light fragrance. A healthy and vigorous climber that repeats well. Plant in full sun and feed regularly throughout the growing season. 1999.

Climber. Recurrent and robust bloomer, the vigorous growth and abundance of velvety-red flowers make it a precious addition to every garden. Suitable for pergolas, bowers and walls. Premium red variety, nicely fragrant.

Climber. Large, well formed, peach blooms on nice long stems, great for cutting. It's gorgeous tropical fragrance is the proverbial flag on top of the cocktail. Nice compact habit for a climber making it great for smaller spaces. Foliage is dark, glossy and with overall good health.

aka Uetersen or Rosarium Uetersen

Climber Modern. A showy, healthy rose with large semi-double flowers of glowing pink. The flowers are continuous through-out the season and have a nice light fragrance. Tolerant of some shade. Named after the Rosarium Uetersen garden in Germany. 1977.

Clg. The first time I saw this rose in full flower I instantly wanted to get married! Large clusters of fragrant, white, single flowers with prominent golden stamens smother the foliage in early summer. Gorgeous. Glossy bright green foliage and good disease resistance. Climber Modern. The colour of this rose is magnificent - rich tones of apricot-orange with yellow showing through on the reverse. Large, slightly informal blooms are borne in generous sprays. Delicious fragrance and dark glossy foliage that shows good disease resistance. Multi Award Winner. 1969
