Modern Climber. A tall Floribunda Rose with clusters of large full flowers, orange blend with good colour stability and sweet fragrance, continuously in flower throughout the season. Its large foliage is glossy, olive green and has shown a remarkable resistance to fungal diseases throughout the trails.

Bred in Ireland by David Kenny.

Oxford Girl is a vigourous and extremely disease resistent climber bred in New Zealand by Mike Athy. It has fragrant dark pink double flowers and repeats well. This versatile rose can be grown on trellises, poles, arches, pillars, or allowed to cascade on its own. It continues to flower right through until autumn.

Climber Cluster Flowered. This rose certainly is the pride of the 'Parade' with large, fragrant and fully double blooms of rich cerise pink. The foliage is deep green and glossy. Generally healthy and easy to grow. Can be used as a pillar rose. Repeats well with a generous amount of blooms. 1953.

aka AKA Eden Rose

Climbing Hybrid Tea. Large full blooms that look like little round cabbages but oh so much prettier. The flowers are creamy white with over tones of lavender pink. Nice fragrance. Strong vigorous grower with bright green generous foliage. 1987.

FYI Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1584) was a French Poet who was popular in court about the time of Mary Queen of Scots. He was also an avid gardener. The breeder, Meilland honoured him by the naming of this lovely rose. Poetic justice wouldn't you say?

Shrub or Climber. A vigorous rose that because of its slightly sprawling habit can be used as a climber. The glowing pink flowers are globular and cupped and quite unique. They put on a drop dead gorgeous display in late spring. Nice soft fragrance and grey-green foliage. Kordes 1936.

Hybrid Tea. A multi award winning red, red, rose bred in France. This rose has even won an award for fragrance so you 'nose' it smells delicious. The hybrid tea shaped blooms appear from summer to autumn. It may be shy the first year after planting but will soon settle in. Glossy green foliage. 2001.

Climber. A great rose named after a great New Zealander. Let 'Sir Ed' climb to heady heights in your garden and delight you with beautiful, double snow white blooms with a cream centre. The blooms are very fragrant and the growth habit is strong and healthy. 2010.

Climber. Tea. This glorious, repeat flowering, rose has beautiful, fully double, flattish white flowers with just a hint of cream at the base. The flowers have a delightful fragrance and the foliage is lush and green. A real treasure from the past. This is a natural climbing sport of the bush form. 1850.

aka The Dunny Rose

Climbing-Tea. A gorgeous old rose often found adorning barns, fences and out-houses hence it's common name 'The Dunny Rose'. Will tolerate some shade, one of the first roses to flower in spring with fragrant, loosely shaped blooms in shades of pink, yellow and copper. Vigorous with few thorns. 1897.

This rose flowers on 'old wood' so take care not to prune back too hard. Named after the breeder's wife. Generally healthy and disease resistant. Give it room to flourish and you will be rewarded with blooms on and off right through to autumn.

Hybrid Perpetual Climber. Velvety port-wine coloured blooms that are semi double, cupped and richly fragrant. The stems are virtually thorn-less. The blooms which repeat well do not like full sun so this rose should be given a semi-shaded position. From France in 1865.
