Bred in France this is an old fashioned rose with scented semi-double flowers of rich magenta pink. The foliage is lush, dark green and heavily veined. In a good season the flowers are followed by dark red ornamental hips. Repeat flowers but not continuously. Shows good disease resistance, award winner. 1894.
