Shrub. This strongly growing shrub rose is a very reliable performer. Glossy dark green foliage and single flowers that are blush pink on the edges with a cream central zone. Nicely prominent golden stamens complete the picture. Fragrant flowers appear continuously throughout the summer. 1979.

This is a good rose to use for hedging as it is quite broad in habit being wider than it is tall.

Polyantha. This Polyantha rose should really be part of the 'Pollyanna' group as it always looks so cheerful. Pretty pink trusses of small, globular, double blooms appear in joyful abundance from spring right through to winter. The mid green foliage is glossy and shows good disease resistance. 1932.

The Fairy is a great rose for group planting or using as a ground cover rose. It is tolerant of poorer soils and will even cope with a little shade. The Fairy is happy in a container and copes well with a haircut at just about any time. Recommended.
