Polyantha. This Polyantha rose should really be part of the 'Pollyanna' group as it always looks so cheerful. Pretty pink trusses of small, globular, double blooms appear in joyful abundance from spring right through to winter. The mid green foliage is glossy and shows good disease resistance. 1932.

The Fairy is a great rose for group planting or using as a ground cover rose. It is tolerant of poorer soils and will even cope with a little shade. The Fairy is happy in a container and copes well with a haircut at just about any time. Recommended.

Shrub. This stunning little miniature has semi-double, cupped, very light green flowers that open from pale pink buds. Nice soft fragrance. Just beautiful in full flower and deservedly popular for over 25 years. Very free flowering. 1971.

Modern Shrub. You will love this rose as it is seldom out of bloom and it has a delicious spicy clove fragrance. The flowers are shaded purple and mauve. They have creamy white centre and a light reverse on the petals that ensures the blooms really stand out.

This rose received top reviews from members the NZRS when it was assessed during 2010.

Shrub. A multi award winning rose with showy, single blooms of white with bright yellow centres and edged with rose red. The arching growth is covered in these striking starry blooms and makes quite a sight in full flower. The foliage is generally healthy and disease resistant. PVR.

As this rose flowers right along the arching canes it is best not to prune the bush too hard in winter. Just give a general tidy and remove any spent canes. It would be well worth planting this rose in groups of 3 or more. NZ Rose of the Year in 2005 amongst other awards.
