Crepe Myrtles are an upright deciduous tree or large shrub that have dark green leaves emerging bronze. The crinkled flowers, hence the name "crepe", appear from summer to autumn in shades of white, pink, red or purple.
Crepe Myrtles require moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Best planted in a warm sheltered position.
Crepe Myrtle. Beautiful lilac-mauve 'crinkly' flowers appear amongst the dark green foliage for months in summer. Forms a very nice small tree with smooth bark. Loves to grow in the sun in a sheltered position. Deciduous.
