Autumn Sale Update
Hi
It's been a big week not only with all the sale stuff going on but there has been arrivals of new
pots all to be priced and put away. I have to say that there are some seriously cool ones that have just come in from more of the
Atlantis series in classic
urns to some quite neat
turquoise glazes to a couple of self contained
water features. Not only that it's been all go on the plant front as well with lots of great plants coming in and the garden centre has just been humming.
So much so that we decided to vamp up our sale and reduce all our existing
apples,
pears,
plums,
peaches,
apricots, basically all the pip and stone fruit by $10.00 thus the bulk of them are now $34.99 to $24.99, and the plants are really really really good.
Now if that wasn't enough then all the citrus that we have in stock we have reduced by $5.00 so if you have a hankering to get in an orchard or even just put in a fruit tree or three then now is the time to get a bargain. There is a few too many
persimmons out there, so out they go with $10.00 off, and today we decided that the beautiful weeping
mulberries that we have here can have $10.00 off too.
Grapes and
currants along with the
raspberries have all been discounted to move them out, to make room for the new season that isn't too far away now.
Don't forget the
roses, there are still too many here and they must all go and are all half price, all standards included and the stocks are looking great.
Day lilies are all reduced to clear and make space for the new season and to just
$10 a plant,. nearly half price!
Hemerocallis or mostly known as
Day lilies are really hardy and will just about grow anywhere. Mass plant a bank or a dry garden with them.
Raspberries all Just $3.00 These are great established plants with fruiting size canes on them. Train a few of them along a fence and pick your own berries.
Ajuga Black Scallop, This is a little cutie groundcover with dark scallop like foliage, great for a semi shade to quite high light position $16.99 these just $6.99 each.
Ajuga Jungle Beauty I love this one with its huge green leaves, great as a drama ground cover and quite spectacular in flower $14.99 reduce to $9.99.
Gerbera Sylvana These are the latest in Gerberas and priced so cheap. A neat plant for a pot on the table or plant in the garden. would look pretty cool mass planted $14.99, gotta go out at $6.00.
Michelia Gracipes A popular plant for hedging with olive green leaves and gorgeous cream flowers. Good plants at $14.99 these to go at $12.99, grab some for hedging!!
Ribbonwood and
Hoherias Nice tall grade at approx 1.2 to 1.5 metres. Ribbonwoods look great planted in groups of threes and fives. A $26.99 grade going for just $12.99.
Ligustrums They don't come much hardier than this plant, solid green foliage that looks good as a foliage foil in the garden or would make for a tidy hedge to approx 1m to 1.2m. The growers had too many so these are going out at $7.50.
Ladys Mantle Classic plant for those that love their perennials and roses, famous for those photos with droplets of moisture held by flowers and leaves, green flower look pretty cool when picked with flowers. $10.99 these just $6.99.
Feijoas Apollo and Mammoth Both really good cultivars just 12.99! If you are looking out for either
Ramsey or
Tulls Supreme, these will be arriving in today or tomorrow.

Matapouri Bay, both big grade plants normally $14.99, for sale at just $10 and
Te Puna at half price. I love these mass planted especially around the trunk of a large tree, quite suitable for a dry and semi shade position.
Heuchera Amethyst. I have been meaning to mass plant some of these in my own garden for that rich red foliage
Sophora Dragons Gold quite shrubby in form and a small compact Kowhai with typical flower s to suit those smaller sections !14.99 now $11.99.

Gardenia Florida and
Veitchii have those deliciously fragrant white flowers and that lovely glossy green foliage that we all love and these great plants normally $19.99 are just half price.
Gardenia radicans is also reduced from $19.99 down to $14.99.
Black mondo grass hardy as and grows well in those dry sunny positions, nice plants normally $9.99 these to go out at just $5.00.
Sam the weather man tells us that its going to be another fine weekend so hopefully that means that we will see you out here at out nursery to check out our Autumn sale. I reckon its the biggest sale that we have ever had and there are heaps of really good buys. So if you don't make it out here. Have a great weekend..
