Native. This is the most common tree fern found in forests throughout New Zealand. It is a medium sized tree fern., fastest growing and tolerates a wide range of conditions. The fronds are harsh to touch and are dark green above and paler on the underside. Water well. Evergreen.

Native. This shade loving herbaceous ground cover loves the damp. Found along streams,waterfalls and gullies, plant where consistent moisture is available.
