An evergreen NZ native with distinctive small green leaves. The margins are finely and bluntly serrated. Young Spring growth is pale green against the silvery whittish trunk. A nice specimen to have amoungst a woodland garden. Will take sandy, loamy and heavy clay soils as long as well drained.

An evergreen NZ native that is extremely decorative with its glossy, dark green leaves that colour in Winter. A great forest tree in lowland dry areas with a dark sooty trunk. As it matures it develops into a slender tree. Wind hardier than other native beechs.

The most floriferous of the olearias. In spring this shrub is smothered in large clusters of white daisy-like flowers. Known as 'Tree daisy' this is an evergreen NZ native shrub. It is medium growing and bushy with narrow, pointed, thin leathery dark green leaves. Flowers borne in large panicles.

Thrives well in windy conditions. Great for hedging, very clippable, or use in boarder or shrub garden.

Native. A pretty free flowering little shrub with dainty evergreen foliage and myriads of little white blooms with a hint of lavender in the centre that will delight from spring to summer. Plant in a sunny spot with humus rich soil that doesn't completely dry out. Protect from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Evergreen native climber with fragrant creamy white flower. Found in wet lowland forests so tolerant of damp conditions. Flowers profusely from spring to autumn. Vigorous climber which needs support.

Native to NZ, this is a beautiful plant with sickle-shaped dark green fronds that sit quite upright. They can be a bit tricky in that they can look great one year and then lose lots of their fronds the next year - can be grown outdoors or indoors. Likes the morning sun and a slightly damp situation.

A NZ native Flax cultivar that has a brilliant upright form and green leaves tinted in apricot. Easy to grow in just about any position you desire. However it will look its best with protection from harsh afternoon sun. Groom to keep tidy. Evergreen.
