Firewheel Tree. This handsome Australian has glossy green wavy foliage and extremely showy whorled flowers in bright orange red which will wow you in the heart of summer. The flowers are loved by birds. Needs a warm sheltered position to do well away from harsh winds and frosts. Evergreen.

Swamp Cypress - Weeping. A unique deciduous conifer that has attractive green ferny foliage that turns golden brown before leaf fall. Interesting fibrous bark and 'knobbly knees' that grow from the roots. This form has pendulous side branches giving the tree a naturally graceful habit.

Taxodium 'McLaren' Falls will grow happily in moist to wet soil but will also tolerate growing in normal garden soil as long as it does not completely dry out in summer. Named for where it was discovered - McLaren Falls in the Kaimai Ranges.
