This lovely dwarf Corokia has unusual, almost black foliage with a hint of silver. Fabulous combined with other grey or silver foliage plants. Perhaps plant a group around a stunning black container. Ideal for hedging as it clips well. Tough and easy to grow. Evergreen.

Native. This form of Korokio or Corokia was discovered at the Mangatangi dam in the Hinua ranges hence the name. The foliage is silver green and has quite a 'misty' look. Yellow flowers in spring followed by berries. A great shrub for group planting or hedging, tough, hardy and evergreen.

Native. This versatile shrub has an has an almost' misty' or 'ghostly' appearance as the older bronze foliage combines with the silvery young growth to give a unique hue. Leaves are small and the foliage very dense making it very suitable for hedging and topiary work. Easy to grow. Evergreen.

'Silver Ghost' responds very well to clipping and is hardy to just about any conditions. In spring small yellow flowers are followed by red berries.

An ideal hedging plant. Leaves are small with a silver grey tint and very dense . Red berries follow the tiny yellow flowers. Very hardy - can handle strong winds, coastal conditions and dry soils once established. Excellent as low - medium hedge, clips well, or great filler shrub in any garden.

Native. Mountain Toe Toe. Graceful, arching, green swords of foliage form a robust clump and are topped off with tall creamy white flower plumes in late spring. Very hardy and easy to grow in sun or part shade. Evergreen.

NB Not to be confused with Cortaderia sellona AKA as Pampas which is a banned plant.

A moderately fast growing tree with large glossy green leaves. Large fleshy drupes in December, small creamy green flowers in September. Very hardy withstanding strong winds, coastal conditions and drought. Resents wet feet and great as a specimen tree. Berries can be poisonous to animals and humans.

Native. Soft and delicate looking fronds spread horizontally from the crown reaching 2-2.5m in length. The trunk is covered in chestnut coloured scales. Plant in a sheltered position in moist humus rich soil. Water during dry spells. Evergreen

This NZ native conifer can reach over 60m when fully mature but that takes quite some time; our height is for 10 year's growth. Juvenile trees have fine drooping bronze 'needles' which eventually change to a green, more a flattened leaf. Produces berries which are loved by birds. Evergreen.

NZ Blueberry. A lovely native perennial that has green sword like foliage that forms a clump. In summer dainty stems of pale blue flowers appear, these are followed by the main act which is the display of blue berries. Happiest in dappled light but will tolerate some sun. Evergreen.
