A hardy shrub known for it powerful fragrance in Spring. The showy white flowers have a purple centre and are pineapple scented. Green leaves. Likes to be planted in a sheltered position in the garden but is very tolerant to the cold and poor soils. Best to prune out old wood in Winter. Deciduous.
