Lilac. Tight red buds open to reveal panicles of large soft rose pink single flowers. Very generous with bloom that will fill your spring garden with a rich fragrance. Happy in sun or part shade in deeply worked soil. Side dress with Lime annually. Deciduous.

Any pruning should be done immediately after flowering.
