If you wish to prune your 'Summer Snowflake' it is best done after flowering though this may reduce the amount of berries. Lovely background shrub and fabulous in a group of 3 or more.

Pretty semi evergreen shrub with shiny green leaves with grey underside. Large groups of fragrant white flowers in spring which start off as pink in the bud. Flowers develop before the leaves. Berries after flowering (if cross-pollinated) which are red to black. Can grow in sun or part shade in well drained soils.

Extremely hardy to frost and can handle dry orders once established.
