Beautiful, medium sized shrub with grey green leaves and red tips. Bright red cone is produced in spring with the surrounding leaves turning a bright yellow. Can be grown as a cut flower shrub, hedge or screen. Needs to be pruned when young as branches can become twisty and unbalance the plant.
Avoid fertilisers but will respond well to compost or peat.
