aka Oleander
An attractive, multi-branched, evergreen shrub that is particularly suitable for hot sunny spots in the garden. Fresh green foliage and large double white blooms from spring through to autumn. When choosing your position it is important to remember that all parts of this shrub are toxic including the sap.
Oleander are a popular choice for coastal planting where they do well. If your plant becomes too big or 'rangy' Oleander respond well to vigorous pruning and this should be done in spring. Prefers a deep rich soil but is remarkably tolerant. Protect from frost.
