Intermediate Bearded Iris. A really pretty Iris that flowers in spring on stems that stand just above the foliage. The blooms are fragrant and in tones of pink and apricot highlighted with red 'beards'. Plant in a sunny well drained spot with the rhizome exposed. Perennial.

Intermediate Irises are ideal for those of you who find your garden is too windy for the stately Tall Bearded Irises. The flower stems sit nicely amongst the foliage and are not overly tall. What they lack in stature they make up for with plenty of blooms.
