Kieffer is a large pear with greenish-yellow skin blushed in red and has coarse crisp, juicy, white flesh. Ideal for preserves, baking and cooking. Highly resistant to fire blight and heat or cold extremes. Late fruiting variety with Yellow/Red skin. Self fertile. Suitable to be grown throughout NZ.
