aka Tahitian or Persian Lime

Citrus Standard. Beautiful glossy green aromatic foliage, delicious green skinned, seedless fruit full of juice that can be used from spring onwards. Fragrant blossoms and thornless branches all make for a winning combination. Evergreen.

While it is common to use Limes when they are green they are actually fully ripe when they turn yellow like a Lemon. They will fall naturally from the tree once ripe. Citrus Information Pages

aka Lime Kaffir

Citrus. Bearss Lime AKA Tahitian Lime. A tangy Lime with seedless fruit that is usually picked in winter when the skin is aromatic and green. Needs a sheltered frost free site to crop really well. Can be grown in a container. Evergreen.

The word "Kaffir" is Arabic for infidel or what Muslims used to call unbelievers. How it became associated with a Lime tree I have yet to discover. However in this case it has no relation to its use as a derogatory term in some cultures. Citrus Information Pages

aka Tahitian Lime

Citrus. Aromatic foliage, highly scented flowers and delicious small juicy fruit. Harvest the fruit when green for that really tangy zing. The fruit gradually turns yellow when fully ripe. Keep clipped in shape to maintain the standard. Happiest in a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.

aka Limequat

Citrus. Not only is this a great decorative plant the fruit which are produced in good quantities can be used for culinary purposes. Glossy green foliage, fragrant white blossom and small yellow fruit with edible skin that are a cross between a Lime and a Kumquat. Evergreen.

Your Limequat can be grown in a container as long as it is fed and watered regularly. It will do best in a sunny sheltered position with protection from harsh frost. Citrus Information Pages
