Maple Rubrum. A North American Maple with interesting red tassel flowers in spring followed by winged seeds. The new large, green foliage turns a brilliant red in autumn and hold colour for a long period. Forms a very handsome specimen tree. Needs a sheltered position - part sun/part shade. Deciduous.
