Hybrid Tea. Big Purple. The large blooms are a beautiful purple–magenta in color complimented of course by a huge fragrance like so many roses in this color shade. Blooms continuously from summer through to autumn. Fantastic for picking.

Rob Somerfield says this rose is "named after the liqueur 'Blackberry Nip' that many will remember from our past. I'm afraid my memory of it is not a great one - my fault as I somewhat over indulged, now days I would choose to drink in the scent of this beautiful rose rather than the liqueur!

Hybrid tea. A hybrid tea of classic form with very fragrant buds of lilac-blue to almost lavender. Upright growth with good foliage. Certainly one of the best of the 'blues'. Seldom disappoints and flowers well throughout the season. 1964.

Hybrid Tea. This free flowering hybrid tea has lovely large full blooms of rich cream set against dark green foliage. The blooms have a light sweet scent. Nice dense habit and shows good disease resistance. Excellent for picking and exhibition. 1988.

This rose is also known as Caroline de Monaco and was named after Princess Caroline of Monaco after she selected the rose when visiting Meilland's Nursery in France.
