Lavandula. Bred in Nelson this striking Lavender has an interesting colour combination of deep purple and soft lemon. The grey-green foliage is aromatic and in spring-summer the purple flower heads appear topped off with large 'wings' of pale lemon yellow. Loves the sun and good drainage. Evergreen.

Lightly trim after flowering and side dress with a little lime annually for best results.

Lavandula. Purple Pixie is a Spanish Lavender with a compact habit. The grey green aromatic foliage is topped off with dark purple flower heads with large mid purple 'rabbit ear' bracts. Lavandula. Fern Leaf Lavender. Originating in Australia this is a slightly different lavender with fine deeply divided grey leaves. The flowers appear for long periods and are coloured and intense violet blue. Likes the sun and protection from frost. Just a bit different. Evergreen.

Lavandula. This is a stunning hybrid lavender which is both tall and sturdy. With large aromatic grey foliage and long stems of intensely aromatic purple flower heads it is a very desirable plant. Plant in a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.

Lavender 'Super' can be grown as a hedge or used in the border for colour and fragrance. Lavender flowers are great for attracting bees to the garden so they ideal to plant near the vegetable garden to assist with pollination.
