Whilst most Asian pears, or Nashi, have a golden-russet skin, this is the only widely-grown cultivar with a yellow-green skin. Slightly sweeter and juicier than the others, but less aromatic. Mid-season.Suitable to be grown throughout NZ. Flowers are susceptible to late frosts.
