An organic soil conditioner should be applied to all gardens at least once a year in Autumn and preferably again in Spring to raise the pH (sweeten) of the soil. This will enable plants to grow better and helps to unlock nutrients in the soil. Lime supplies the important nutrient calcium. Not to be used where acid loving plants grow.

Avoid applying to acid soil loving plants like azaleas, camellias, rhodo, erica, daphne, blueberry etc.
