Tight rosy pink buds open to reveal racemes of pretty single lilac blooms. The name tells you that the racemes are very long and will fill your garden with delicious perfume in spring. Plant in sun or part shade in deeply worked soil. Side dress with Lime annually. Deciduous.

Any pruning should be done immediately after flowering.
