Is it a plum? Is it an apricot? No it's a Plumcot - a hybrid of both. The fruit looks more like a plum but is a golden apricot colour. The flesh is very sweet with an intense flavour and full of Vitamin A. Ripens around February. Pollinate with Plum Duff's Early Jewel or Santa Rosa. Deciduous.

Plumcot - a hybrid between a Plum and an Apricot. White spring blossom followed by beautiful deep plum coloured fruit. You get the tangy plum flavour and purple skin with the orange melting flesh and sweetness and scent of apricot. Good disease resistance. Self fertile but will produce more fruit if planted with another variety nearby. Deciduous.
