This apple can only be classed as a 10. The skin is red blushed and the flesh crisp and juicy with a good balance between sweet and tart flavours. Very good for fresh eating. Abundant cropper, disease resistant and self fertile. Ripe around March. Introduced from the USA in 1978. Deciduous.
Grafted on M26 rootstock to keep compact. Support with a permanent stake to prevent wind rock. Suitable for container growing.
