Hybrid Tea. Hayward college has deep red old fashioned style blooms with extremely weather resistant petals that last on the bush or in a vase for weeks. The bush is medium high with a compact habit. It has dark matte foliage and any new growth is a dark red-purple. 2017 Rob Somerfield.

Floribunda. Oh Honey Child you're going to love this rose with its blaze of gorgeous blooms in shades of warm bronze and apricot. Masses of fragrant flowers will delight throughout the season. The foliage also has complementary bronze tones, just lovely. 1997.

Floribunda. Drop dead gorgeous blooms toned in moody shades of blue, lilac and mauve with just a hint of white in the centre, all highlighted by golden stamens. Good repeat of bloom throughout the season. Nice powerful fragrance to delight the senses. UK 2006. AKA 'Blue for You'.

Shrub. This modern shrub rose bred in NZ has hot pink single flowers highlighted with a white central zone and golden stamens. It repeat flowers all summer and if not completely dead-headed 'Hot Lips' will reward you with a show of lovely hips.
