Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub. Sprays of bright clear red semi-double flowers with a slightly lighter reverse. None to mild fragrance. Naturally hardy with quilted grey-green foliage. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Give her room to show off. Loves heat best.

Floribunda. Bred by Sam McGredy this modern shrub rose has clusters of beautiful tight buds that open out to flowers of the most delicate salmon pink highlighted by golden stamens. A strong grower that flowers well and also has a lovely fragrance.

aka Luminis St Johns Rose

Floribunda. This Rose was released to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of St. John's NZ. The beautifully cupped blooms are clear white and fragrant and produced in generous clusters. 'Luminis' is Latin for light and this rose will certainly light up your garden when in full bloom.

Hybrid Tea. Named after media personality and politician Maggie Barry. This aptly flamboyant rose has perfect blooms in tones of deep orange, coral and pink. A free flowering, upright and bushy plant with a delicate fragrance. 1993.

Floribunda. There probably aren't enough superlatives to describe this excellent white rose. The petals are richly textured with just a little blush of colour in the centre offset by warm bronze stamens. Multi award winner including one for fragrance. Disease resistant. 10 out of 10! 1978.

Floribunda. Light orange red blooms with white reverse and edges of petals. Free-flowering all summer on a healthy and compact bush. Bred by Sam McCready 1975. One of the handpainted roses, that is, it appears an artist has hand-painted the flower edges in a different colour. Lovely!

Climber - Hybrid Musk. A great little climbing rose that I have always enjoyed growing. Clusters of fragrant creamy-white blooms appear non-stop from summer through to autumn. Nice dark stems and foliage set the flowers off really well. Generally vigorous, healthy and trouble free. 1913.

Shrublet. Simply delightful and quite unique panicle like clusters of petite pretty-pink rosettes. This easy-care rose is ideal for landscaping, can be used as a low border plant. Repeat flowering and virtually thornless! Bred in New Zealand by Carl Dibley.
