'Sky Sentry' AKA as 'Sky Pencil' is a wonderfully architectural plant with its strong upright, columnar habit. The small, dark green, glossy leaves hug the upright stems and always look tidy. Use where you want to make a punctuation mark in the garden. Easy to grow in sun or part shade.

'Sky Sentry' is a female form of Holly but needs a male for the flowers to turn into berries. Currently there is no male form on offer. 'Sky Sentry' has been awarded a Royal Horticulture Society Award of Garden Merit.

An interesting little shrub that hails from China and will remind you of Wisteria when in full flower. The foliage is made up of glossy green leaflets, spikes of pretty pink flowers appear in summer. Quite easy to grow in sun or part shade and well drained soil. Deciduous.

In colder climates this sub-shrub may die right back to the ground in winter but it will re-shoot from the base again in spring.

An erect shrub from the Proteaceae family with narrow leaves that produces yellow drumstick like flowers in Spring. Hardy and suited to a range of well drained soils and conditions. Can be grown coastal, woodlands, open forest and sandstone soils. Evergreen.

The common name for this plant is 'Beauty Bush' and the botanical 'amabilis' means lovely so you know that this is just a beautiful flowering shrub. Bell shaped pink blooms drape the arching branches from late spring to early summer. Flaky bark that peels off in winter. Delightful and deciduous.
