This giant perennial succulent makes a real statement especially when planted in groups of 3 or more. The broad gray-green leaves form a perfect large rosette. Will thrive in poor dry soil but will not tolerate harsh frost. Looks good in a container. Evergreen.

Once Agave have flowered the mother plant will die down leaving the offsets to continue growing.

A Small evergreen tree or shrub that has juniper-like foliage and pretty white flowers that are sought after by florists for flower arranging. The flowers are mostly white but have pinky throats and are produced throughout the year. Can prune to keep small, or allow it to become a slender tree.

Lemon Verbena. This rather open and rangy shrub will not win you over with its looks but it will wow you with the delicious aromatic fragrance that is emitted from the foliage when it is bruised or crushed. Likes good drainage and the sun. Protect from harsh frost. Deciduous.

Give this plant a good tidy up every now and then with sharp secateurs - it will respond well. Small sprays of pale lavender flowers appear in summer but it is really the foliage that makes this shrub desirable.

Astelia look their best when group planted and they are a fabulous easy care architectural container plant.

The large glossy leaves are splashed and spotted with yellow and will light up a dull corner. Small red flowers in spring are followed by waxy red berries.
