aka Gallica violacia
Gallica Ciolacea. Stunning near single flowers of a rich velvety crimson purple with stunning yellow stamen contrast. This healthy, upright bush with lush foliage, is said to have originated in Holland around 1700's. Deciduous.
This once only flowering rose should only be pruned after flowering to ensure the next seasons flowers.

Bourbon. The slender canes of this lovely old fashioned rose are long and willow-like. The rose pink blooms are medium sized, perfectly cupped and fabulously fragrant. Repeats well from summer to autumn if treated kindly. From France 1872. Sometimes called 'The Shell Rose'.

Floribunda. An abundance of luscious red rose buds that open to reveal pink centers will delight from summer to autumn. Great for cutting. Bred by Rob Somerfield, this medium sized rose displays high disease resistance. Gold star winner of the South Pacific trial grounds (2018).

Climber Hybrid Tea. A beautiful rose with blended soft apricot-orange, hybrid tea shaped blooms that have a warm yellow reverse. Nice fragrance and healthy deep green foliage. A great rose to use as an upward pillar. 1990.

Tea. Consistently popular world wide since its introduction in 1910. The Lady has long, copper-apricot buds that open to large, loose, double blooms of warm yellow. The stems and foliage have tones of purple-bronze which complement the blooms nicely. A heady, fruity fragrance is an added bonus.
Named after Lady Hillingdon the wife of Baron Hillingdon of Hillingdon Court, Uxbridge where the breeder of this rose, Lowe and Shawyer had a nursery.

Hybrid Tea. A must have for red rose lovers and aren't we all? Plump pointed buds open to sumptuous velvety red blooms that carry a delicious 'raspberry' fragrance. Just lovely to pick and long lasting in a vase. Nice overall habit. AKA 'City of Newcastle' and 'Veterans Honor'. 1997.

Austin. Large, fullly cupped rosettes with outer petals that re-curve back slightly. Shaded a rich deep pink with a deliciously, fruity, fragrance with a hint of raspberry. Named for the late Baroness Strange who lived in Megginch Castle, Scotland. A good woman and a good rose. 2006.

Climbing Hybrid Tea. A very pretty rose with semi-double, fragrant blooms in soft pink highlighted with salmon under-tones. Flowers well in summer and has nice lush healthy foliage. Generally hardy and robust and will tolerate less than ideal conditions. Bred in France in 1903.
