Coarse dark green foliage complemented by semi-double large light crimson blooms in summer. Highly scented. Good hips in autumn. Known to Europe since the 13th Century and originates from Damascus.

The semi-evergreen foliage is light green and set on thornless stems. The late spring flowers are double, dainty, pure white and scented. A lovely little rose that likes a warm sheltered spot.

aka Banksia Rose Climber. This special little rose is spectacular in early spring around about the end of September. Masses of tiny double pale butter yellow blooms smother the arching stems and emit a gentle fragrance. The profuse foliage is thornless and evergreen. aka Banksia The Pearl Clg Climber. AKA 'Purezza'. A sweet little rose that has dark green foliage and thorn-less stems. During spring and summer clusters of small, double, white blooms appear. Nice soft fragrance. Good disease resistance.

Damask. An ancient Rose that has an uncertain history but could possibly be from Iran. The dark pink-purple rosette shaped blooms are borne on slender stems in summer and have a strong fragrance. Responds well to hard pruning. To quote the Rosarian Peter Beales "well worth a place in any garden"

This strongly scented rose has beautiful semi-double, velvety wine-red flowers with a hint of purple. It is constantly in bloom over a long period. One of the best loved Rugosas with good reason. Nice dark green foliage which colours well in the autumn. Very hardy and tolerant. 1901.
