Rambler. Medium sized fragrant and fully double flowers that open flat. The flowers are coloured a rich salmon with coppery apricot overtones. Nice shiny foliage that also has tones of copper. Repeats on and off throughout the season especially if in a nice sunny spot. 1900.

It is a few years since I had 'Paul Transon' in my garden but it was a rose I always admired and enjoyed growing.

aka Peace or Mme A Meilland

Hybrid Tea Std. Possibly the world's favourite, best known and best loved rose. A delicate soft yellow edged with pink. Lightly fragrant blooms on a very sturdy vigorous bush. Wonderful as a cut flower. Repeats well and shows good disease resistance. Multi award winner. 1945.

Std Weeper. A vigorous and hardy rose with arching branches smothered in neat shiny dark green foliage and masses of small deep pink double flowers in generous clusters. The flowers have a light and musky scent. Generally disease resistant. Wonderful accent rose. PVR 1983.

Rugosa. The pretty pink blooms on this robust Rugosa rose have serrated frilly edges a bit like a Dianthus. Leathery dark green foliage and an upright habit. Free flowering from summer through to autumn. From the Netherlands - 1923. Something a bit different to ooh and aah over. Deciduous

Climber, Polyantha. Highly rated for its sheer flower power and ease of cultivation. Fragrant, semi-double bright pink flowers appear in regular clusters right up to autumn. The nearly thorn-less stems are easy to train or use as a cascading shrub. A sport of the bush rose discovered in 1952. Deciduous

Floribunda. An outstanding red Floribunda with glowing red blooms from summer to autumn. The nice light fragrance combined with high health and vigor resulted in this rose being awarded NZ Rose of the Year in the 2008 trials. It's worth finding a space for. 1994 PVR.

Floribunda. Like any self respecting 'Playboy' this rose makes sure it is always the centre of attention. The almost single flowers are tones of brilliant orange, scarlet and yellow. Nice glossy foliage and of course smells good too. Use to add boldness to your planting schemes. 1976.

Floribunda. A bushy plant with mid green foliage that shows to perfection the beautiful displays of true red, medium sized, blooms that are vibrant and lively. Named as a tribute to Raymond 'Poppy' Diack.

Floribunda Std. Named after the classic English Rose - Diana Princess of Wales. This pretty rose has attractive pearly white blooms that smother the bush from summer through to autumn. Gentle fragrance, compact habit and nice, healthy, glossy foliage.
