aka Kazanlink

Damask. A very ancient rose used extensively in Bulgaria for attar of roses. This automatically tells us that the perfume is deliciously delightful i.e. this rose is very fragrant! The blooms are somewhat shaggy, double and shaded a warm pink. Spring flowering. From the Middle East -pre 1700.

Did you know that it takes about 50 kilos of rose petals - yes 50 to make just 30mls of essential rose oil (attar of roses)? Blooming amazing!

Climber. Large, well formed, peach blooms on nice long stems, great for cutting. It's gorgeous tropical fragrance is the proverbial flag on top of the cocktail. Nice compact habit for a climber making it great for smaller spaces. Foliage is dark, glossy and with overall good health.

Hybrid Tea. This pink blend rose is very well named as the large well formed blooms are a striking blend of bright yellow, suffused with pink and red tones. Nice fragrance and strong healthy upright growth habit. Nice picking rose. 1997. Deciduous

Floribunda. A neat compact rose with dense green, glossy foliage. Free-flowering with clusters of rounded buds that open to fully double, rich orange-red blooms with a gentle fragrance. Reliable and showy, excellent rose for mass bedding or containers. 1977.

Gallica. An upright rose that is a natural 'sport' from rose 'Tuscany'. The strong stems have few thorns and the dark crimson flowers are very strongly scented. The flowers are semi-double and have a nice prominent display of golden stamens. An easy to grow rose that flowers in early summer 1848.
